The Empire Boulevard Direct Vent Gas Fireplace - 48" is made in the USA and features an electronic intermittent pilot ignition system that utilizes a multi-function thermostatic remote. This intuitive remote allows you to control the flame height with six flame settings and functions as a programmable room thermostat that anticipates heat output and adjusts the flame height based on the difference between your desired programmed temperature and the actual temperature to provide consistent heating. A standing pilot mode can also be turned on using the remote control for quicker lighting and reduced glass condensation in colder climates or during the winter season.
